The Tooth Fairy Misspelled

One of Preston's spelling words last week was toothfairy.  He started laughing and said, "What if I just took out the H?  Then it would be the fairy that gives out money when people toot."  A conversation ensued for several minutes about the plausibility of this kind of fairy.  A little while later, he said wistfully, "If there really was such a thing, I would be one of the luckiest people ever.  So would Carter.  He would be SUPER lucky."

We were talking about some of the funny faces Sadie makes.  Avery said, "Do you remember when she made the what in the world are you eating? face?"  (I didn't.)

Carter:  Mom, how good do you think you would be against me at Mario Kart?
Me:  Um, not very good.
Carter:  Well, if you want to get better, maybe you could find out the secrets of the game.  Or you could just drive straight...

I am having a hard time adjusting to having four kids.  I don't know how other people seem to have everything together.  The song that goes through my head lately is from an old movie, The Unsinkable Molly Brown.  "Anything I can do, you can do better.  You can do anything better than me."  That's how it goes, right?  Well, that's how I feel.  I'd sing it for you, but you could do it much better than I could...

Speaking of songs, I need suggestions for good music to listen to.  I don't know what music is cool these days.  And I love pandora, so I can actually take your advice.  I just barely discovered Adele, and I am sure there are other musicians I should be listening to.
